Welcome to the LBCC application for the Associate Degree for Nursing (RN Program)
Complete the application during the posted application periods. Review the steps below to prepare your application.
- Apply to LBCC to get your student ID number: Beginning Fall 2025, an LBCC Student ID number is required to complete this application. If you do not receive your Admissions Letter and ID number within 2 business days, contact the Admissions & Records Office in person or online at https://www.lbcc.edu/admissions-records. If you have not attended the college within the past year, you may need to reapply to reactivate your ID number.
- Log in to the Viking Portal to begin your application: You will be required to sign in to the Viking Portal to access the application. Help guides are available on the LBCC STHD site here. If you are having trouble signing into the application, right-click the link below and select the option to open it using a private or incognito window. For further assistance, review LBCC's browser help guide here.
- Organize unofficial transcripts & supporting documents:You will need to attach a PDF of the documents listed below. It is recommended that you combine your documents using a PDF merger (link to Adobe here).
- Required: Unofficial transcripts from all colleges or universities, including LBCC. Even if official copies have been sent to LBCC, you must attach unofficial transcripts for all college coursework with your application. Students without an Associate Degree or higher are required to submit proof of High School or equivalent completion.
- Supporting documents: If applicable, attach your Life Science Equivalency Form, Unofficial GE Certification, TEAS test score, JST/DD214, verification of employment, volunteer hours, and proficiency of languages other than English.
- Apply to the LBCC ADN Program: Fill out the application using the link below during a valid application period. Be sure to review your contact information. A link will be sent to your email after you have completed the first section. Review the application requirements on the LBCC site at https://www.lbcc.edu/pod/adn-application-info. You will not be able to submit your application if you do not meet the admissions requirements.
